Officially released the music video of The Fate of Ophelia, Single and the opening song of his latest album titled The Life of Showgirl.In this video, Swift again took the entire team of The Eras Tour.
The music video that was released first at The Official Release Party of a Showgirl on 3-5 October 2025 in a number of countries was also aired on YouTube on Monday (6/10) Indonesian time.

In the video, Swift started with the concept of ophelia character from the staging Hamlet (1599-1601) by William Shakespeare.Ophelia is the daughter of Polonius who chose to end her life because of deep sadness after being left by her death, Hamlet, and her father in the close time.
In this video, Swift as Ophelia who is lying on the river and then rose to live again and become a stage girl with various concepts, ranging from the style of Marilyn Monre in the decade ’60s, to the staging of Burlesque.
As the concept as a stage girl, Swift also presented herself with the Eras Tour dancers playing the performance to dance a la The Spectacle Musical (1933-1935) by Busby Berkeley.

Until then Swift appeared in Karma song clothes in the Midnights session on Eras Tour, capturing the American Football ball and entered the room numbered 87 that symbolized his meeting with Travis Kelce on Eras Tour.
In the premiere at The Official Release Party of a Showgirl, Taylor Swift explained that he really wanted to describe the journey experienced by a woman in becoming a stage girl.
“The idea that I got for this music video is a kind of trip through all different ways where from time to time, historically, can become a stage girl,” Swift said in the video at the event.
“Like, how will you be the center of public attention in the 1800s, while sitting for a pre-rafael painting. Or you can become a stage girl by becoming a Burlesque cabaret club player,” he continued.
“You can be a theater actor who is performing the show. You can be a Vegas stage girl. You can be one of the girls in the era of Berjeley Busby who sparkled in the 1930s and 1940s.”

Taylor Swift previously added to his record achievement in Spotify with the latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, which was released on October 3, 2025.
The opening song of the album, The Fate of Ophelia, broke the record as a song with the highest number of streaming in a day at the streaming service, less than 24 hours.
The achievement broke the previous record which was also held by Swift when releasing The Tortured Poets Department (2024) through the opening song of the album, Fortnight, in April 2024 with 25 million streaming.
The Fortnight acquisition defeated Easy On Me from Adele who won nearly 20 million streaming in October 2021.
