“Yes, we secured 4 people suspected of stealing an ATM machine owned by Bank Sulselbar,” Kasubnit 2 Jatanras Polrestabes Makassar, Iptu Nasrullah told reporters on Saturday (9/13).
Not only securing the perpetrators, the police also found the ATM machine that the perpetrators dumped in a swamp, so officers had to dive to lift the machine.
In front of the police the perpetrators claimed to have drained all the money in the ATM machine at the time of the burning at the Makassar DPRD office last Friday (29/8).
“They have taken the money in the ATM machine and divided,” he said.
Regarding the burning case at the South Sulawesi and Makassar DPRD offices, the police have arrested and named 40 suspects, among them there were children brought in age.
