Secretary General (Secretary General) of the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) Kamaruddin Amin opened his voice about ASN Ministry of Religion arrested by Detachment 88 members.

Kamaruddin said that the Ministry of Religion supported Detachment 88’s move to capture ASN who was allegedly involved in terrorism, of course by continuing to prioritize the principle of presumption of innocence.The ASN is a civil servant in the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion in Aceh.
At present, said Kamaruddin, his party is waiting for an official statement from Detachment 88 regarding the alleged involvement of ASN Ministry of Religion in the terrorism movement.The Ministry of Religion will also be cooperative if Detachment 88 in the law enforcement process requires information from the Ministry of Religion.
Previously a spokesman for Detachment 88 AKBP AKBP AKBP Mayndra Eka Wardhana explained the arrest of the perpetrators of ZA (47) and M (40) carried out by investigators after monitoring in recent months.
Eka said that based on the role of ZA perpetrators allegedly involved in funding one of the terror organizations in Aceh.In addition, ZA is also tasked with managing the flow of funds for logistics activities from the activities of the terror group.
“While M was arrested for having a strategic role as one of the officials of the terror network in the Aceh region, which was tasked with recruiting in the framework of regeneration,” he said in a written statement.
In the arrest, Eka said Detachment 88 investigators also secured a number of evidence in the form of a laptop unit, mobile phone, flashdisk, and sharp weapons used in the context of training.
