must bear the consequences of his words will rob state money.
Wahyudin’s video piece with a woman in the car and said he was about to rob the country’s money was viral on social media.
“Today we are heading to Makassar, using state money. We just rob this country’s money, right. We just spend it. Let this country get poorer,” Wahyudin said in the video while laughing.
In the aftermath of his words, Wahyudin was imposed sanctions from the PDIP in the form of dismissal from political party membership.
“The PDIP Central Leadership Council decided to impose an organizational sanction in the form of dismissal to Wahyudin Moridu from the membership of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle,” wrote a letter signed by PDIP Chairman Megawati Sukarnoputri and Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto.
The Chairman of the PDIP DPP in the Honorary Division of Komarudin Watubun ensured that the Gorontalo DPRD member would be subject to an inter -time replacement (PAW) in the near future.
In addition, PDIP also forbade Wahyudin to do activities and occupy any position in the name of PDIP.
Separately, the Honorary Agency (BK) of the Gorontalo DPRD said Wahyudin was drunk while issuing the controversial.
“The person concerned said that from last night, he drank hard until the next morning. That to the airport was still in a state of unconscious condition, meaning that in a state of drunkenness,” said Chairman of the Gorontalo Provincial DPRD BK, Fikram Salilama told reporters on Friday (19/9).
In addition, Fikram said the woman who spread the video was allegedly demanding Wahyudin to marry her.
Not finished there, Wahyudin’s wealth was not separated in the spotlight, especially the LHKPN showed that he had a total property of minus Rp2 million.
LHKPN dated March 26, 2025 noted that Wahyudin only reported his assets once to the KPK.
In the report, Wahyudin had a land and building assets of 2,000 square meters (m2)/72 m2 in Boalemo with a inheritance status worth Rp180,000,000.
He also reported cash ownership and cash equivalent of Rp. 18,000,000.However, Wahyudin has a debt of Rp. 200,000,000.
“Total assets of Rp. 2,000,000,” reported from the KPK e-LHKPN page.
Responding to that, the KPK will intervene to investigate Wahyudin’s assets.
KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said checking would be carried out to ensure that the LHKPN was reportedly true and not a mere formality.
“We will check the suitability of the reporting,” Budi said, quoted Sunday (9/21).
