Krasheninnikov volcano in Kamchatka, Russia, erupted on Sunday (3/8) for the first time in 600 years.
The last eruption in the form of lava effusion recorded occurred in 1463, and since then there was no known eruption activity.
The 1,856 meter mountain eruption spewed ash lumps up to 6,000 meters high.
