A number of traders in the Barito Market, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, chose to stay in their respective stalls, to receive an official letter from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, Sunday (3/8).
This follows the target of the South Jakarta City Government which will empty the Barito Market today.
The City Government plans the relocation of traders to a number of other markets under the management of Pasar Jaya Perumda, as part of the ASEAN Park development project.
The Barito Market is known as the center of pets and culinary, located between Langsat Park and Ayodya Park which will be combined into ASEAN Park.
