Four people died after flash floods swept Uttarkashi district, Uttarakhand state, India, Tuesday (5/8).
The flash floods followed heavy rain flushed the Kheer Ganga Watershed (DAS).
A number of houses to hotels in the village of Dharali which are close to the river are damaged by floods.
Some people are believed to be trapped under the ruins due to the incident.
Minister of Home American Shah has ordered the Indo-Tibet border police to help rescue operations.
