optimistic the peace agreement related to conflict in
Gaza
will soon be achieved, as the start of talks between Israel and the Palestinian militant group, Hamas.
“I think we are on a good path and I think Hamas has agreed to very important things,” Trump said in the White House.

Trump added that there had been extraordinary progress in the issue and expressed his belief that an agreement could be achieved immediately.

This statement emerged in the midst of talks between Israeli and Palestinian negotiators in Egypt, which were mediated by the United States, Qatar, Turkey and Egypt.
This process is part of an international effort to end a prolonged conflict in Gaza based on the ceasefire plan proposed by Trump.
