Thousands of researchers who attended the Indonesian Science, Technology and Industry Convention (KSTI) will participate in compiling Indonesian technology research and innovation road maps during the three -day event.
Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Menristekdikti) Brian Yuliarto said and technological innovation to accelerate economic growth and equity.
“So that we have the ability to superior human resources and mastery of technology science to be able to manage important resources that control the lives of many people for the greatest prosperity of the community,” he said, when reporting activities before President Prabowo Subianto, in his remarks.
This convention was held in Sabuga, ITB, Bandung, West Java from today to Saturday (9/8).
Brian also explained to the invited guests present, if the 2025 KSTI was Prabowo’s initiative.He said KSTI was expected to discuss various issues about science, technology and industry, for the progress of the nation.
“This convention is an initiative of Mr. President [Prabowo Subianto] to bring together, gather researchers and professors, especially in the field of STEM to jointly equate vision, contribute, advance the nation and state of Indonesia,” he said.
Previously, thousands of researchers in Indonesia were present at the 2025 Convention on Science, Technology, Industry (KSTI) which was held at the Sabuga Building Bandung, Thursday (7/8).
Brian said the event was attended by 350 Chancellors from State and Private Universities in Indonesia.Not only that, thousands of the best researchers in Indonesia were also present at this event.
Brian said that with this convention, science and technology in Indonesia are expected to be able to realize economic growth and equity.In addition, he encouraged the extractive economy to be changed by managing downstreaming.
