National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo officially appointed Komjen

Dedi who currently serves as the National Police Irwasum will replace the position of Komjen (Ret.) Ahmad Dofiri who has released his position since July 1, 2025.
The decision to appoint Dedi was contained in the Telegram Letter Number: ST/1764/VIII/KEP./2025, as of August 5, 2025 signed by the Assistant of the National Police Chief Inspector General Anwar.
Dedi had previously served as Head of the Police Public Relations Divis until February 26, 2023 began serving as a HR Assistant of the National Police.
He also won the MURI award on May 28, 2024 for being the only high-ranking police officer who wrote the most books.Dedi was recorded at least 27 books.
National Police Chief Listyo Sigit previously claimed to be consulting with President Prabowo Subianto regarding who would fill the position of Deputy Chief of Police.
“Later it will be consulted, yes (consulted with the President),” Sigit told reporters in East Jakarta, Sunday (6/7).
Nevertheless, Sigit at that time did not discuss further about the figure of the National Police Officer (Pati) who had the opportunity to fill the position of Deputy Chief of Police.
He actually threw a joke by pointing at several 3 -star generals who were behind him.
At that moment, at least there was a figure of the National Police Kabaharkam Komjen Fadil Imran to Kabaintelkam Komjen Syahardiantono.
“This is the Deputy Chief of Police, choose (pointing to the back there is Komjen Komjen),” said Sigit.
Previously Komjen Ahmad Dofiri officially retired from the Bhayangkara Corps and had submitted the Deputy Chief of Police to the National Police Chief Gen. Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
Head of Public Relations of the National Police Inspector General Nugroho said the process of submitting the position had been carried out on Monday (6/30) because Dofiri had turned 58 years old on June 4.
“Has submission of positions (Wakapolri) have been handed over,” he said when confirmed via text message, Wednesday (2/7).
