“For the third quarter (quarter III 2025) we will continue (giving stimulus), there are still Rp10.8 trillion of economic activity stimulus that will be carried out in the third quarter,” he explained at the Economic Growth Press Conference at the Ministry of Economy, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (5/8).
“We hope that it will also give a momentum in July (2025) that we just passed and later in August (2025) it is hoped that the momentum will be maintained,” continued Airlangga.
Nevertheless, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani has not yet specified what the incentives are.
He only cited the success of the stimulus package launched by the government in the second quarter of 2025.At that time, President Prabowo Subianto poured Rp24.4 trillion for incentives during June 2025-July 2025.
As a result, economic growth in the second quarter of 2025 flew to 5.12 percent year on year (yoy).The achievement was better than the first quarter of 2025 which only grew 4.87 percent on an annual basis.
“This is all (giving incentives) provides an explanation of consumption and several increases from several sides of the demand side,” explained Sri Mulyani.
The woman who is familiarly called Ani also said the government’s plan to provide a number of incentives during the Christmas and New Year holidays (Nataru) 2025/2026.He stressed that the stimulus package was still being drafted.
Ani emphasized that the APBN would continue to carry out its duties to manage the economy, according to what had been planned.The hope, the Indonesian economy can still grow.
“Pak Coordinating Minister (Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto) with all of us is in a stimulus around the Nataru holiday. This will also be done later. Hopefully it can be announced faster so that people can do planning for trips at the end of the year,” he said.
