The South Korean player appeared since the early minutes in his last match with Tottenham against Newcastle at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.
The friendly match ended in a 1-1 draw.Spurs lead first in the fourth minute through Brennan Johnson and equated Harvey Barnes in the 38th minute.
Son Heung Min was replaced in the 65th minute by a new player, Mohammed Kudus.It was at this moment that Son returned emotional.
The 33 -year -old winger received a festive applause and respect from the audience when he was about to leave the field.His eyes were glazed when he hugged Mohammed Kudus on the sidelines.
He then waved to the audience while shedding tears.Son’s tears broke out when he got a hug from his teammate one by one in front of the bench.
