One of the legendary Indonesian basketball clubs Satria Muda officially joined management
Persib
And will be based in Bandung.
The union of Satria Muda with Persib was released through the club’s Instagram social media account on Monday (4/8) afternoon.Satria Muda also officially changed its name to Satria Muda Bandung.
“A new step in the history of the long journey of Satria Muda has been created. As of today we are officially synergizing and joining the Persib extended family.”
“This enthusiastic transformation will lead to a new identity. Welcome, Satria Muda Bandung!”Write the official Satria Muda account on Instagram social media, Monday (4/8).
The release mentioned that this step was taken as an effort to improve the quality and competitiveness of the club.This is also the actualization of ‘Indonesian Champion, Indonesia Champion’.
CEO of PT Persib Bandung Dignified Glenn Sugita stated that the club’s managerial unification is a concrete step to create a higher quality sports ecosystem.
“We see great potential in Satria Muda, and believe that transformation to become SM Bandung will open a new chapter full of innovation and the spirit of champion,” Glenn said.

Satria Muda is known as a club from Jakarta.The club was established in Jakarta on October 28, 1993. In 1996, Satria Muda debuted in the main basketball competition (Kobatama).
Since appearing in the top national basketball caste competition, Satria Muda has collected 12 titles.The details, one Kobatama title, eight IBL titles, and three NBL titles.
With the departure of Satria Muda from Jakarta to Bandung, competition with Pelita Jaya Jakarta is getting thicker.Both are the two most successful basketball clubs in Indonesia.
