on Monday (4/8) afternoon.The Garuda currency rose 112 points or strengthened 0.68 percent compared to the closure of the previous trade.
While the Bank Indonesia (BI) reference rate Jakarta Interbank Spot Dollar Rate (JISDOR) placed rupiah to Rp16,388 per US dollar in trading this afternoon.
Asian currency varies.Yen Japan minus 0.35 percent, Singapore dollars rose 0.14 percent, South Korean Won plus 0.29 percent, Yuan China rose 0.23 percent, Malaysian ringgit rose 0.95 percent, and Thailand Baht rose 0.06 percent.
The majority of developed country currency is sluggish.European Euro fell 0.22 percent, British pounds fell 0.04 percent, the Australian dollar fell 0.03 percent, and Swiss francs weakened 0.58 percent.
Analyst Doo Financial Futures Lukman Leong said the rupiah and regional currencies generally strengthen against the US dollar which weakened sharply by weak work data.

Tomorrow, he estimates that the rupiah will move in the range of IDR 16,350 – IDR 16,450 per US dollar.
