Sugiono also emphasized that Indonesia wants all parties to be able to restrain themselves so that the suffering of the people of Gaza is truly resolved so that a good future can be created.
“That’s what we want to see, those voices that we convey to them,” he continued.
Sugiono also emphasized that Indonesia always tries to convey these messages to every party that has access to dialogue with Israel so that they comply with the ceasefire.
“Anyone who has a direct connection, we will convey it,” he said, when asked whether there was direct lobbying from Indonesia to the United States regarding Israel.
The United States is a close ally of Israel.Meanwhile, Indonesia does not have diplomatic relations with the Zionist State.However, Indonesia has relations with the US.
Israel and Hamas agreed to a ceasefire on October 10.However, since the ceasefire took effect, Zionist troops have repeatedly committed violations such as storming Gaza City or killing civilians.
According to reports since the ceasefire, the death toll from Israeli attacks has reached 236 and nearly 600 were injured.If accumulated since the aggression in October 2023, the total death toll is more than 68,000 people.
