The man who was born on October 27, 1968 in Pemalang, Central Java is a graduate of the 1990 Police Academy (Akpol).
A number of positions have been carried by Karyoto during his career in the Bhayangkara Corps.Among them are the Head of Infodata Kominter Set NCB Interpol in 2009, the Main Investigator Level II Dit III/KOR and WCC Bareskrim Polri in 2010, Kasubdit III Dittipidkor Bareskrim Polri in 2011.
Karyoto has also been trusted to occupy positions in a number of areas.Among other things, the 2012 Barelang Police Chief, DIY DIY Dirreskrimum in 2014, North Sulawesi Deputy Police Chief in 2018 to the Deputy Chief of DIY in 2019.

Three years of duty at the KPK, Karyoto then ‘returned home’ to his original institution.Karyoto was appointed as Metro Jaya Police Chief in 2023 ago.

Twice Replace Fadil Imran
Now, Karyoto was appointed to occupy a new position as the National Police news to replace the position of Komjen Fadil Imran.

With this appointment, Karyoto has recorded twice to replace the position held by Komjen Fadil Imran.

At that time, Fadil was appointed in a new position as Kabaharangkam Polro and promoted to the three -star general or Komjen.
Two years later, Karyoto again replaced Fadil’s position.Now, Karyoto is lined up to become the National Police and Fadil Kabaharkam being appointed in a new position as Astamaops of the National Police Chief.

Inspector General Karyoto recorded a assets of Rp. 11.5 billion.The data was delivered by Karyoto to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on March 10, 2025 while serving as the Jakarta Police Chief.
Karyoto has land and building assets worth Rp6,670,000,000.However, in its LHKPN report, there were several assets that were allegedly double.

There was an increase in assets of Rp1,680,000,000 compared to reports of the previous year.On March 6, 2024, Karyoto reported assets to the KPK in the amount of Rp9,844,000,000.
