Pramono Will Repair 40 Meters of Collapsed Baswedan Embankment

in Jatipadang, South Jakarta which collapsed during heavy rain last week.
The collapse of the embankment flooded residential areas.As of Tuesday (4/10), the floodwaters were still 20-30 cm high.
“In the short term, we will repair the collapsed embankment. Approximately how many meters? 40 meters. So that what has been used or felt by the community so far will come back again,” said Pramono when inspecting the embankment, Tuesday.

He explained that in the long term, the Provincial Government will formulate steps to handle this area.
Pramono said the location was a water catchment area or
catchment

Chairman of RW 06 Abdul Kohar explained that there were more than 1,000 heads of families (KK) who were affected by flooding when the embankment broke some time ago.
“We have around 600 families, in RT 03 alone, in RT 04 some around 200 families and in RT 14, 200 families. If we accumulate it all, it will be around 1,200 to 1,500 families,” he said.
“So, thank God, we have been able to overcome all of this together, both from the sub-district, so far this means that no one has been displaced,” he added.
