DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung claims traders in
Barito Market
, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, has agreed to be moved to a temporary location since Sunday (3/8).
“They have signed to move on August 3,” Pramono said in the South Jakarta area, Monday (4/8).
Pramono said that the Provincial Government (Pemprov) of DKI Jakarta had prepared relocation for the traders.The PDIP politician also stated that his party had regulated that the transfer of the Barito Market traders could take place well.
“Because this is not for individual interests, this is the public interest. And, when they want to occupy the place, they have signed, are willing at any time (relocated),” Pramono said.
Then furthermore, traders from the Barito Market were given a choice of locations to move to the Pasar Jaya Perumda Market such as in Mampang, Pondok Indah, Pondok Labu, Tebet Barat, Tebet Timur, Bata Putih and Kebayoran Lama.
The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will combine three parks namely Taman Leuser, Taman Ayodya and Taman Langsat in South Jakarta to be a Heritage Flag Park-before it is called the ASEAN Park.The Barito Market ‘attached’ to the Langsat Park on Jalan Barito I, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.
The three parks connecting projects are targeted to be inaugurated in December 2025. The laying of the first stone is targeted on 8 August.

On Monday afternoon yesterday, the Solidarity of the People’s Business The Barito Alliance Reuns Authoritarian (Suara Barito) asked the joint officer to show the Decree (SK) of the Governor of DKI regarding the emptying of kiosks related to relocation in the construction of the Heritage Flag Park.
The park project will connect three neighboring gardens or green open spaces in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.The three parks that will be connected are Langsat Park, Ayodya Park, and Leuser Park.
“The Governor’s Decree is to be shown. Show,” said one of the Solidarity Advocate Suppliers of Market Traders (P3), Fahmi Akbar to officers in the Barito area, Monday afternoon.
Fahmi stressed that to the joint officer consisting of kelurahan, members of the PP Satpol, TNI and Polri after arriving at the location at around 14.46 WIB.
He stressed the existence of the applicable regulations to protect the rights of MSMEs in carrying out their business.
“Whereas in Law (Number) 20 of 2008, the government is obliged to protect MSMEs,” he said.
Previously, the South Jakarta City Government stated that he had carried out socialization and appealed to the temporary location traders (Loksem) JS 25, 26, and 30 or Barito Markets to voluntarily empty kiosks.South Jakarta City Government also said it would help the mode of transportation to support the relocation of market traders known as the pet market and culinary.
The government will conduct structuring and demolition in that place which is an asset owned by the Department of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) of DKI Province.
