“This gas station is a private gas station and we have given strict sanctions in the form of temporary closure for comprehensive investigations. Pertamina Patra Niaga has a tight standard for the quality and security of fuel distribution, so that every violation will be dealt with firmly,” Satria said in a written statement, Tuesday (5/8).
According to Satria, gas stations have also completed the process of handling to affected consumers.
“Consumers who report constraints at gas stations have been handled. Pertamina Patra Niaga is fully committed in the service to the public at the gas station both we manage themselves and the private sector to protect consumer rights,” he said.
Pertamina Patra Niaga ensures that it will continue to improve and improve the distribution system, quality control, and improve the competencies of gas station partners throughout Indonesia.
“We apologize for the incident and we will continue to strengthen the fuel quality supervision and control system so that similar incidents do not happen. We appreciate the proactive community to report and continue to be open to input for better service,” concluded Satria.
