In Singapore, failed to enter the top 100 in the list of the world’s best airports 2025.
This is because the poor performance score of the airports in Southeast Asia, according to Airhelp.
The ranking released by Airhelp, a global leader in aviation compensation services, evaluates 250 airports worldwide based on three criteria: Performance of timeliness (60 percent of the score), customer satisfaction (20 percent), and the quality of food and retail services (20 percent).
Changi Airport, which is often named the best in the world by international organizations, is ranked 34th and is the only Southeast Asian airport that entered the top 100.
Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport in Thailand is ranked 109th with a score of 7.2 for the performance of timeliness.
Other airports in the Southeast Asian region are below 7 points for the timeliness, which significantly reduced their overall ranking.
Kota Kinabalu Airport in Malaysia is ranked 141th with a score of 6.9 of time, while Kuala Lumpur International Airport is ranked 204 with only 6.3 points.
Denpasar Airport in Bali in Indonesia is ranked 218 with a score of timeNoi Bai Airport in Hanoi in Vietnam is ranked 242 with a score of 6.4, while Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh City is ranked almost the lowest, which is ranked 248th with 6.1 points.
The top ranking airport in Airhelp ranking this year is Cape Town International Airport in South Africa, which won an overall score of 8.57.Hamad Doha Airport in Qatar is ranked second.
