Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo and American athlete Dulcy Saylor were impressed with Indonesia ahead
2025 Gymnastics World Championships

Both of them have just undergone podium training or official practice at the Indonesia Arena, Friday (17/10).According to them, preparations for the championship are going well and smoothly.
Yulo is the 2024 Olympic gold medalist in the floor exercise and table vault events.For him, this is the second time coming to Jakarta, after appearing in the 2018 Asian Games.

This 25 year old artistic gymnast has also won gold medals at the world championships twice.The first gold was won in 2019 in the floor exercise event, then in 2021 in the table vault event.
“Yes, this is the first time Indonesia has hosted [the world championships], also the first time in Southeast Asia. I have been here before in 2018, during the Asian Games. I like being here.”
“It’s fun and there is extraordinary improvement, not only for Indonesia, but also Southeast Asia. I am proud and grateful to be here,” said Yulo.
Saylor is a young American gymnast.He is currently 17 years old and this is the first time he has appeared to represent his country at the world championships.That’s why Saylor was so enthusiastic.
“So far it’s been extraordinary. It’s great to be here. I think this is the right time to train and I feel happy,” said Saylor after podium training.
“I think I am ready and will do my best. I will try my best. I know what I have to do and I will enjoy it,” he said.
