To answer this challenge, the Deposit Insurance Corporation (
LPS
) Back with a real solution through the 2025 LPS Financial Festival. This event will be held on August 6-7 2025 at the Dyandra Convention Center, Surabaya, free and open to the public.
By carrying out educational spirit as well as entertainment, this festival is designed to increase financial literacy and inclusion, especially among young people.
According to the latest data from the National Literacy and Financial Inclusion (SNLIK) 2025 survey, the Indonesian financial literacy index rose to 66.46%, and the financial inclusion index reached 80.51%.This shows positive progress compared to 2024, but there is still a lot of space to develop.
Seeing this trend, LPS increasingly aggressively educated the public through strategic programs.LPS Financial Festival, is one of the concrete steps closer to financial education in the wider community in a light, fun, and relevant way.
On the first day of the festival, you can listen to interesting discussions from important figures such as the Chairman of the LPS Board of Commissioners Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, the founder and chairman of CT Corp Chairul Tanjung, and the Chairman of the House of Representatives Commission XI Muhammad Misbakhun.Also present Raffi Ahmad will share inspirational stories.
Still on the first day, the second session will present LPS Board of Commissioners Members Didik Madiyono, former Culture Minister Prof.Dr.Mohammad Nuh, and Cak Lontong Comedian.The business class that day will be filled by the Financial Influencer Ellen May.
For the second day, the LPS Financial Festival will be attended by East Java Deputy Governor Emil Dardak, DPR Commission XI member Wihadi Wiyanto, and President Director of PT HM Sampoerna Ivan Cahyadi.Also present was Surabaya Mayor Eri Cahyadi who would deliver Keynote Speech.
The second day class will also present Cinta Laura, who brings financial education with a young generation perspective.
And of course, to enliven the festival there will be music performances from guardians, Coldiac, King Nassar, and Ran.
