National Police Reform Acceleration Commission
held its first meeting at
Police Headquarters
, South Jakarta, Monday (10/11).A number of matters were discussed at the meeting.
National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo said the Bhayangkara Corps was always open to criticism and evaluation.

“In principle, the National Police is of course always open to receiving improvements, accepting evaluations, because we also of course want to continue to realize the performance of the National Police. So that the National Police can truly become an institution that realizes what the public hopes for,” said Sigit in a written statement.
Sigit realized that the National Police was the biological child of reform.According to him, the public has more expectations of the National Police.
“In particular, we understand that the National Police is the result of reform, so of course the post-reform community’s hopes can be followed up by the National Police institution,” he said.
Furthermore, Sigit said that his staff would immediately respond to all directions and input from the Commission for the Acceleration of Reform.
“We are here in an effort to be able to respond quickly and immediately implement the recommendations that will be given by the Chairman of the Reform Team to the President and then of course we must follow up,” he said.
