“Bismillah was present. I accompanied,” said Nadiem’s lawyer, Mohamad Ali, when confirmed via a written message, Wednesday (6/8).
He said the clarification process began in the morning and his party would arrive at the KPK office around 09.00 WIB.
Previously, KPK Spokesman Budi Prasetyo revealed the handling of alleged corruption investigations related to the procurement of Google Cloud had positive developments.There were no obstacles when the investigator asked for information from a number of parties.
“The progress is good, positive, all present gave information and of course the KPK appealed to anyone who was called to be questioned cooperative information to the investigator and in the investigation process,” Budi said at the Red and White Building, Tuesday (5/8) night.
During yesterday, the investigator had completed the process of requesting information to former CEO of PT Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (Goto) Andre Soelistyo and shareholder Melissa Siska Juminto.
Clarification of the two is carried out to explore the process and mechanism for the procurement of Google Cloud in the Ministry of Education and Culture.

Not yet obtained information from Andre and Melissa related to the intended clarification agenda.
Previously, the Acting Deputy for Action and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur Rahayu said that the Google Cloud investigation at the Ministry of Research and Technology was different from the alleged corruption case of Chromebook laptops that were being handled by the Attorney General’s Office.
“Regarding Google Cloud, is it the same as the Chromebook that is now being handled [AGO], the answer is different,” said Asep, Jakarta, Friday (7/25).
Asep explained the Chromebook case was related to the procurement of hardware, while Google Cloud was a software procurement.
Nevertheless, Asep said the KPK would still communicate with the Attorney General’s Office related to the Google Cloud investigation.
“We certainly have also communicated with the Attorney General’s Office for handling the case because later this is a different thing, although this is a package that cannot be separated between hardware [hardware] and software [software],” said this one -star police general.
