Federal Bureau of Investigation (

) issued security warnings on attacks
malware
which targets Android phones.Most of the target attacks are millions of cellphones and cheap products from China.
Warning Security Security FBI I-060525-PSA said the ongoing attack targets everything ranging from streaming devices, digital photo frames, third-party aftermarket car infotainment systems, and various kinds of smart devices at home.

These devices, all devices are cheap and unaccated, mostly originating from China.The attack allows the attacker to access your home network and so on with.
The Lat61 Intelligence Threat Team from Point Wild engineered behind the chain of this malware infection called Badbox 2.As a result, they found a new compromise indicator that had been distributed to the global computer emergency response team, as well as law enforcement.
“This Android -based malware has been installed earlier in the firmware of cheap IoT devices, smart TVs, TV boxes, tablets, even before the device left the factory,” Kiran Gaikwad said from the Lat61 team, quoted from

“This malware secretly converts the device into a proxy node residence for criminal operations such as click fraud, credential filling, and stomach and control (C2) are hidden,” he added.
Meanwhile, Google confirmed in a statement on July 17 that they had “filed a lawsuit to the New York Federal Court against the Botnet actors.”
Google also said that they had “updated Google Play Protect, malware and software protection that Android default, to automatically block applications related to badbox.”
Furthermore, several cyber criminals groups participated allegedly behind Badbox 2.0.Each group contributes to the infrastructure or fraud module that underlies this malware campaign.
These contributions include making money from infected devices, programmed advertising fraud, click fraud, proxyjacking, and making and operating botnet in 222 countries and regions.
