Indonesian U-23 National Team Manager Sumardji said Marselino had canceled his flight to Thailand.The AS Trencin player failed to join due to a hamstring injury.
“Marselino [Ferdinan] canceled joining the U-23 Indonesian National Team. He was supposed to leave last night, but couldn’t join,” Sumardji told shesocial Indonesia, Wednesday (3/12).

“Lino [Marselino Ferdinan’s nickname] has a hamstring injury and as a result of the diagnosis he has to rest for at least 10 days,” explained the man with the rank of Police Commissioner.
Instead, PSSI called Persik Kediri player, Rifqi Ray.This 21 year old player will fly to Thailand as soon as possible, before the first match.
“As a replacement for Marselino, we called Persik Kediri player, Rifqi. Refreshed, Rifqi immediately flew to Thailand. This is in accordance with coach Indra Sjafri’s wishes,” said Sumardji.
