open votes related to penalties due to violations of tire pressure in the race

Marc Marquez supports MotoGP regulations related to tire pressure. However, the punishment for violating tire pressure was considered too heavy.
MotoGP 2025 was colored by a number of moments involving this tire pressure regulation.Interestingly, Marquez was involved several times in the case.

Crash
, in the Czech MotoGP, Marquez got a warning on the motorcycle dashboard if he was threatened with failing to complete 30 percent of the race because he did not reach the minimum pressure on the front tires.
Because of that problem Marquez ‘gave’ the leading position in the race to Pedro Acosta. After reaching the ideal limit, Marquez returned to overtake Acosta and became a winner.
A similar incident occurred in Thailand MotoGP.This time Marquez gave a way to Alex Marquez.
Maverick Vinales from Tech3 became one of the racers who had been sentenced to penalties for violating tire pressure.
Due to violations of tire pressure in the Qatar MotoGP, Vinales was sentenced to a penalty of 16 seconds. The sentence was felt too heavy, and Marquez wanted a penalty reduction.
“I agree with the rule, because in the end it is a safety rule,” Marquez was quoted as saying by Crash.
“It’s true that the penalty, in my opinion, is too heavy. I will say yes, the seconds can be less,” Marquez added.
MotoGP currently imposes a penalty after the race of +8 seconds for sprint racing and +16 seconds for the grand prix if a racer fails to complete the required percentage of rotation (30 percent for sprint, 60 percent for GP) above the minimum pressure.
“For me, reduce the penalty to half. For example, 4 seconds for sprints and 8 seconds for long racing. It will make more sense,” Marquez said.
“Now, 8 seconds for sprint and 16 seconds for race are very large penalties and better wait for others.”
