“The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court will immediately study the letter to find out whether or not it is necessary to clarify the parties related to the case, due to alleged acts that violate the code of ethics and guidelines for judges’ behavior,” said the Supreme Court Spokesman, Yanto at the Supreme Court Building, Wednesday (6/8).
Yanto emphasized that the judge who handled the Tom Lembong case had certified as a Corruption Judge, so that he met the requirements as a Corruption Judge.
“Requirements as judges of corruption at the District Court and the Appeal Level Court, both career judges and Ad-Hoc judges have been determined that the person concerned has a certificate as a Corruption Judge,” he said.
Tom Lembong was previously officially reported the panel of judges who sentenced him to him to the Supreme Court.
Tom’s lawyer, Zaid Mushafi, said Tom wanted an evaluation of the judicial process he lived.
