The importance of financial literacy is increasingly felt in the midst of current economic dynamics.With a good understanding of financial products and services, the community can avoid the practice of financial fraud and be able to optimize the use of financial services.
Based on the results of the 2025 National Literacy and Financial Inclusion Survey (SNLIK) released by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the national financial literacy index reached 66.46%, up from 65.43% in the previous year.
Meanwhile, the financial inclusion index also increased to 80.51%.This increase shows that the community increasingly understands the importance of wise financial management, as well as more aware of the risk of fraud and harmful financial practices.
As an institution that plays a role in maintaining the stability of the financial system, the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) is actively encouraging financial literacy through various educational programs.One of them is the LPS Financial Festival which is designed to reach the wider community with a light but meaningful approach.
LPS Financial Festival will be held at the Dyandra Convention Center, Jl.Basuki Rahmat No.93-105, Embong Kaliasin, Genteng District, Surabaya, 6-7 August 2025.
This festival combines discussions, business classes, and entertainment in a series of events, so it is expected to be able to attract various groups, especially the younger generation.
LPS Financial Festival The first day will present interesting discussions with a number of prominent figures.The first session will be guided by the Chairman of the LPS Board of Commissioners Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa together with CT Corp Founder Chairul Tanjung and DPR Commission XI Chairman Muhammad Misbakhun.This event will also be enlivened by Raffi Ahmad who will share inspirational stories.
