“Today I issued a new Minister of Law Decree where Pak Haji Muhammad Mardiono remained the General Chairperson of PPP, then Mr. Agus became Deputy Chairperson, then Mr. Gus Taj Yasin became Secretary General and Fauzan became the General Treasurer,” Supratman said.
Mardiono in his remarks expressed his gratitude for the agreement of himself with Agus.Two days earlier, he acknowledged that the reconciliation was facilitated by several people.
But through the meeting, Mardiono agreed to reconcile and take a middle ground in the management at PPP.
“We will agree to do reconciliation and then end the difference in view,” he said.
Meanwhile, in his statement, Agus claimed to have agreed to make peace with Mardiono after the dualism of their leadership.
Agus added that by accepting the Islah decision, the management of PPP under Mardiono would start from zero while the transition process was carried out.
