For the first time holding military exercises in disputed waters, South China Sea (LCS).
The Philippine military said they and India did two days of training, since Sunday (3/8).
“The Philippine Armed Forces and the Indian Navy carried out their first bilateral maritime cooperation activities from 3 to 4 August,” according to the Philippine military, quoted

In this joint exercise, the Indian Navy mobilized the Delhi control of control ships, the Ins Shakti tanker, and the Ins Kiltan corvette, while the Philippines sent two fregates, BRP Miguel Malvar and BRP Jose Rizal.
In the midst of the exercise precisely on Sunday, the Philippine military also detected Chinese destroyers about 26 miles from where they were.
They also mentioned that Chinese navy ships and coast guards supervised from the previous joint patrol with other foreign navies.
Watching the two joint training countries at LCS, China is angry.They took part in routine patrols on the same day when the two countries were exercising and in adjacent locations.
Last week, the Chinese National Defense Ministry dubbed the Philippines as a troublemaker.They also stated that the country was strategically allied with foreign forces to cause problems in LCS.
China claims most of the LCS regions and often disagree with various countries that have borders in these waters.
“China has never been shaken in its determination and desire to maintain the sovereignty of the national territory and maritime rights and interests and will take strict reply to every provocation by the Philippines,” said Spokesman for the Ministry of Defense Colonel Zhang Xiaogang, quoted

China has regional disputes with India and the Philippines.
China and India often disagree about border in several regions, especially in the Himalayas.Meanwhile, they often conflict with the Philippines because of second Thomas Shoal and Scarborough Shoal claims at LCS.
The Philippine-Indian military training took place when President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos visited New Delhi.
Bongbong said the Philippines and India would strengthen cooperation in various fields including defense.
“Our cooperation will be more intensive and have a greater impact in many fields that we have never explored India before, such as defense, trade and investment, health, tourism, and other fields,” Bongbong said.
