“This positive performance shows the growing demand for aluminum and Inalum’s strong position in the market, both domestic and global,” said Melati in a statement, Tuesday (2/11).
Inalum’s sales growth throughout 2025 is in line with increasing demand from various domestic industrial sectors, including the extrusion, automotive, cable and aluminum sheet industries.
Inalum’s main products such as Ingot G1 are still the biggest contributor to sales, followed by other products such as Ingot S1B, Alloy, Billet, Molten and Ingot S2.
The export market also shows stable performance with Malaysia being the largest destination country, followed by South Korea, Japan, China, India, Thailand and a number of other countries.
“Overall, 76 percent of sales are allocated to the domestic market, while the other 24 percent is directed to meet global market needs,” said Melati.
Inalum Business Development Director Arif Haendra explained that sales performance that exceeded targets was an important momentum in welcoming the coming year.
According to him, sales that are running well in the domestic and export markets prove that the company’s business strategy is in the right direction.
“We hope that support from all parties can continue to be maintained so that Inalum is able to maintain stability and achieve better performance in 2026,” he explained.
Approaching the new year, Inalum also emphasized its commitment to strengthening the national aluminum industry through various strategic steps.
The company is preparing to develop an Alumina refining plant, SGAR Phase 2 to increase capacity to 2 million tons of Alumina per year, and build a second smelter in Mempawah, as an important part of the integration of the national aluminum supply chain.
Not only that, increasing production capacity at the Kuala Tanjung Smelter was also carried out through the construction of Potline 4. These three strategic programs are expected to become the foundation for Inalum’s long-term transformation in realizing an independent, competitive and sustainable Indonesian aluminum industry.
