PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) officially started distribution
Step WGN
E: Hev by submitting 20 first units to consumers at the GIIAS 2025 event, Saturday (2/8).The unit is the result of initial order during the exhibition.
“This surrender is the beginning of our commitment to bring the best comfort and technology for Indonesian families,” said Shugo Watanabe, President Director of PT HPM.
Since it was launched at GIIAS 2025, Honda has recorded an order of around 200 units of Step WGN E: HEV which continues to grow from various regions.The distribution process to other cities will begin this month.
Honda is targeting the urban family segment through this hybrid model.Yusak Billy, Director of Sales & Marketing and after -sales of PT HPM, explained that Step WGN E: HEV is equipped with a field cabin and more than 100 functional features to support family needs.
“Our after -sales service is also ready to support ownership experience through dealer and official workshop networks throughout Indonesia,” he said.
Step WGN E: HEV carries a 2.0L Atkinson Cycle engine and an electric motor in the Electric-First Hybrid system, which relies on an electric motor as the main driver.This scheme produces fine acceleration and high fuel efficiency.
The interior offers space flexibility such as the second row chair that can be shifted, flat rear seats, and broad visibility thanks to the window parallel to the front dashboard.This model is also equipped with Honda Sensing safety technology.
Honda said the combination of features, performance, and efficiency in Step WGN E: HEV was designed to answer the needs of modern families who needed versatile and environmentally friendly vehicles.
