The Army Headquarters ensured that the case of persecution led to death

Allegedly because of his senior persecution in the battalion will be handled seriously.
Kadispenad Brigadier General Wahyu Yudhayana said a number of soldiers suspected of the perpetrators of the persecution and a number of witnesses had been questioned by the Military Police Detachment.
“At present, several personnel suspected of being the perpetrators, including a number of witnesses who were around the crime scene when the incident occurred, was being examined by the Military Police Detachment in Kupang. The examination was carried out intensively and thoroughly to clearly find out how this event occurred,” Wahyu Yudhayana said in Batujajar, West Bandung Regency, Friday (8/8).
“After evidence and facts and the level of involvement of each personnel, the leadership of the Army has said that the legal process will be carried out in accordance with applicable regulations,” he continued.
Wahyu asked all parties to respect the investigation process being carried out.He also ensured that the Army did not tolerate activities that resulted in the loss of soldiers, both in the form of traditional and coaching activities.
“I invite all of us to jointly follow and wait for the results of the examination that is being carried out by the ranks of the Military Police Kodam IX/Udayana and the Military Police Detachment in Kupang. Further developments will be conveyed, especially related to personnel who are proven to be involved and will undergo legal proceedings in accordance with their respective responsibilities,” he said.
“On this occasion I also want to emphasize that the Army leadership has never tolerated all forms of activities that result in personnel losses, both in the form of traditional and coaching activities. Leaders always remind that every activity must be carried out based on the rules that are beneficial for the implementation of the duties of soldiers and units,” added the one-star general.
TNI AD Evaluation
In addition, Wahyu ensured that the deadly persecution was a comprehensive evaluation material for the Army.The Army will look back at the coaching system in all operational units so that events that harm personnel like this are not repeated.
“Until now, there are more than 24 people who are being examined, both as suspected perpetrators and witnesses. All were questioned in this process,” he said.
Wahyu also expressed his sorrow from the TNI for the death of his soldier.Wahyu ensured that the investigation of the Prada Lucky death case would be carried out thoroughly.
“This incident is very regretted, and we convey deep sorrow. Investigations and examinations are underway as a whole. If later found the involvement of certain personnel, they will be processed legally according to the applicable laws and regulations,” he said.
Meanwhile, the family stated that the death of Prada Lucky Chepril Saputra Namo was due to being slaughtered by his seniors who were uniform thugs.
“Our child died because it was slaughtered by uniform thugs,” Otniel Fau said when giving a speech representing the family before the release of the body, Saturday (9/8).
He said the perpetrators who carried out the persecution of Prada Lucky were like thorns in the meat owned in the TNI institution.
“They are like thorns in meat,” he said.
On that basis, he emphasized that the family requested that the highest leadership of the TNI to thoroughly investigate the persecution case which resulted in the death of Prada Lucky.This must be done, he said, so that the image of the TNI in the community would be maintained as good as a defense institution that protected the Indonesian people.
“To the highest leaders or leaders who are authorized to investigate thoroughly so that the TNI’s image will be maintained. Because this has made a bad image,” he said.
“Investigate them and the departure of all of them,” he continued, followed by the applause of thousands of mourners in the grief tent.
The late Prada Lucky Chepril Saputra Namo (23) was a TNI Army soldier who served in the Territorial Battalion of the Development of 834 Waka Nga Mere (Yon TP 834/WM) Nagekeo.
The man who had only been died for a few months was allegedly due to the natural torture carried out by his senior in the battalion dormitory.
Prada Lucky died on Wednesday (6/8).He had been undergoing treatment for four days in the Intelive Care Unit of Aeramo Regional Hospital, Nagekeo.
His body was then brought home to Kupang after being picked up by his mother’s father, Sergeant Major (Serma) of the TNI Kristian Namo and Sepriana Paulina Mirpey on Thursday (7/8).
