justifies one of the representatives

Ade Mulya, Director of Public Affairs & Communications Goto, said that on Saturday (30/9), his party and other applicators were contacted by the Vice President’s Office to present representatives of Mitra Ojol.The representatives were asked to attend to dialogue with Gibran.
“The aim is to hear firsthand the aspirations and expectations of partners,” Ade said in his written statement, Tuesday (2/9).
“We also want to emphasize that Mohamad Rahman Tohir or who is familiarly called Cang Rahman, one of the dialogue participants who has been busy being a public conversation lately is that the active partner of Gojek since 2015,” he continued.
Ade said the company greatly appreciated every official invitation addressed to the driver partner.Therefore, Gojek ensured that the ojol representatives who attended the meeting were their active partners, who worked daily, involved in the community, and were trusted by their colleagues.
He added that various aspirations conveyed in the dialogue were also purely from the partners present, ranging from requests for support for the Affan Kurniawan family – Ojol drivers who were killed by Rantis Brimob -Solidarity of fellow drivers, to the hope that the situation remains safe and peaceful.
“For us, every dialogue space with the government is a valuable opportunity. We believe, the sincere voice of the partners is the strongest foundation to find solutions together for a better future,” he said.
Previously, Chairman of the Garda Indonesia Online Ojek Driver Association Raden Igun Wicaksono claimed not to recognize ojol representatives who had a dialogue with Gibran at the Vice President’s Palace Sunday (31/8).
He said the ojol drivers who met the Vice President were not members of their associations.For this irregularity he alluded to the unclear groups of those represented during the meeting with Gibran.
“Yes (not know). No one knows from which group they represent who. Because what is certain is that we as our association are institutionalized and registered with the State or Government of the Republic of Indonesia. And we are direct eyewitnesses (incidents that befall Affan Kurniawan),” Igun told

Igun put suspicion and questioned the origin of the ojol drivers who were invited to dialogue because in fact both he and his colleagues in the association did not recognize those who were displayed in the news during the dialogue.
Igun had mentioned the possibility of engineering from the government who might not really bring Ojol but rather the people of Ojol.
“So what circulates in Ojol’s colleagues is that these friends are disappointed especially seeing that there are groups that have never represented online motorcycle taxis suddenly with the vice president. Is this an engineering or setting to take advantage of the tragedy of the death of Affan Kurniawan to find sympathy by inviting ojol or ojol-tubers that we do not know that ojol or not,” said Igun.
