Freakier Friday
is a sequel to the legendary 2000s film titled Freaky Friday (2003).The sequel was still starring Duo Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis as the main actor.
The film still carries the theme of the same story that involves one family experienced a body exchange due to an event.However, this time, the body exchange event happened to four people at once.

The sequel story takes the background of 20 years after the first film ends.Tess Coleman (Jamie Lee Curtis) has become a successful psychologist after decades of a career.
He will even do a tour to various places for the promotion of his first book.Meanwhile, Anna Coleman (Lindsay Lohan) is no longer a musician even though it is still dealing with the entertainment industry.
Anna is now the manager of a pop star named Ella (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) who is full of pressure.He also tried to balance life as the sole mother of the teenager named Harper (Julia Butters).

Life began to change when Anna fell in love at first sight of Eric Reyes (Manny Jacinto).Likewise, Eric is also a widower and sole father of Lily (Sophia Hammons).
After going through a romance and warmth PDKT, they began to believe that the relationship could continue in a serious direction.They even believe that his daughter, Harper and Lily, can get along living together.
Anna and Eric then decided to get married soon.However, chaos occurs when the two families are united.
Anna and Tess suddenly experienced a body exchange, a strange event that occurred two decades ago.The situation this time was even more complicated because not only the two of them exchanged bodies, but also the child.
Tess exchanged physical with Lily, while Anna exchanged Harper.The change triggered the Coleman family to be chaotic.
Anna, Tess, Harper, and Lily then have to immediately look for ways to get back to normal.However, in the midst of the effort, they are also required to run the life of the body being visited.
This made Anna and Tess back to teenagers of a dozen years, Lily became an authoritative psychologist, until Harper became a manager and prospective wife of Eric Reyes.
Freakier Friday was directed by director Nisha Ganatra from Jordan Weiss’s scenario.The director and writer replaced the collaboration of Mark Waters, Heather Hach, and Leslie Dixon who worked on the first film.
The second film is also still referring to the character of the novel of the same name by Mary Rodgers who was released in 1972. Freakier Friday later became the seventh work that was worked on the novel as a whole.
In addition to Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan, the film stars Julia Butters, Sophia Hammon, Manny Jacinto, Hark Harmon, Chad Michael Murray, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Rosalind Chao, to Vanessa Bayer.
Freakier Friday aired starting August 6 in Indonesian theaters.
