arresting four people suspected of being involved in the ISIS support network in West Sumatra (West Sumatra) and North Sumatra (North Sumatra) on 3 and 6 October 2025.
Spokesman for Detachment 88 Anti -Terrorist Polri AKBP Mayndra Eka Wardhana is suspected to be the Ansharut Daulah group (AD) who supports Daulah ISIS.

“The four perpetrators are known to be active in spreading propaganda and provocation of terrorist acts through social media. They make and distribute content that supports Daulah ISIS,” he said in a written statement, Tuesday (7/10).
He explained that the first arrest was made against RW in Padang, West Sumatra, on Friday (3/10) at 12.58 WIB.Based on his role, Eka said that RW actively creating propaganda content about Daulah ISIS.
Furthermore, investigators arrested KM on the southern coast, West Sumatra, on Monday (6/10) at 17.01 WIB.The suspect KM is said to play an active role in spreading propaganda on social media and uploading pictures of firearms.
