In fact, when climbing the stairs to the examination room, Rudy Ong was seen walking crawling to avoid the camera spotlight.
KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said after the examination, Rudy Ong would be immediately detained at the KPK Detention Center.
“Furthermore, the ROC suspect will be detained for the first 20 days from August 21 to September 9, 2025,” Budi said when confirmed, Thursday (8/21).
“The detention was carried out in the KPK Red and White Building Branch Detention Center,” he continued.
Previously, KPK investigators forcibly picked up Rudy Ong because the person concerned often avoided inspection calls.
Rudy Ong is a representative of PT Cahaya Bara Kaltim, PT Bunga Jadi Lestari and PT Anugerah Pancaran Bulan, and 5 percent shareholders of PT Tara Indonusa Coal.
Besides Rudy Ong, the KPK has named two other people as suspects.They were the Governor of East Kalimantan for the period 2008-2013 and 2013-2018 Awang Faroek Ishak and the Chairman of the East Kalimantan Kadin who was the daughter of Awang Faroek, Dayang Donna Walfiaries Tania.
However, the KPK has issued an order to stop the investigation (SP3) for the Awang Faroek case because he died.
The anti -year -old institution will submit the complete construction of the case on Monday, August 25, 2025.
