DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung said land acquisition for the program
Normalization of Ciliwung River
will be done soon.
This land acquisition is in line with the location of the location (block) of the land that has been signed by Pramono.
“I have actually signed the blockage. Now in the field, there will be land acquisition and so on,” Pramono said in Central Jakarta, Tuesday (5/8).
Pramono explained that Ciliwung gave 40 percent of Jakarta’s flood contribution.However, he claimed when compared to other regions, floods in Jakarta were among those who quickly subsided.
“Yesterday we were monitoring compared to other regions, nothing. Jakarta was not so long after it had immediately receded, because of what? We prepared the pump, then we also this lakes, there we were dredging constantly,” he said.
Pramono stressed that he would focus on handling medium term in overcoming Jakarta floods.Therefore, the proyel normalization of the Ciliwung River is the main thing.
Floods had previously occurred in Jakarta on Tuesday morning.There are 16 RTs that are flooded due to the overflow of Ciliwung River.
