National Police Chief
to the DPR RI.
“There is no (Surpres Substitution of the National Police Chief),” Dasco said, Saturday (9/13) as quoted from detik.com.
The news of the Surpress of the turn of the National Police Chief emerged after the wave of demonstrations broke out in Indonesia recently.
Demonstrations in various regions ended in chaos to cause casualties.Komnas HAM noted that there were 10 victims died during a series of demonstrations.
Meanwhile, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto was previously said to have formed the Police Reform Team after the demonstration led to chaos last August.
This was conveyed by Rev. Gomar Gultom after the Nation Conscience Movement with a dialogue with Prabowo at the Jakarta Presidential Palace, Thursday (11/9).
“Earlier it was also conveyed by the Nation Conscience Movement the need for police evaluation and reforms that was also welcomed by the President will soon form a team or police reform commission,” Gomar said after the meeting.
