) as of 5 August 2025.
The 20 -year -old young man born in Surakarta had just won the Macau Open title last weekend.It became the first Super 300 BWF Level title for Alwi.
The PB Exist dropout player stepped over two players from the neighboring country, namely Jia Heng Jason (Singapore) and Leong Jun Hao (Malaysia).
In the men’s singles sector, Alwi is an Indonesian player with the second best rank after Jonatan Christie who is now ranked fifth or up one ranking.
For the number one position the world is still occupied by Shi Yu Qi, followed by Anders Antoncent and Kunlavut Vitidsarn in the big three zone.
While Moh Zaki Ubaidillah was ranked 46th in the world and Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo ranked 48th in the world.
In the women’s singles sector, there are two Indonesian badminton players in the top 10 positions namely Gregoria Mariska Tunjung (7) and Putri Kusuma Wardani (9).
In the men’s singles sector, Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto, ranked fourth.Patience Karyaman Gutama is in the eighth position, and Leo Rolly Carnando/Bagas Maulana is ranked 10th.
Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Amalia Cahaya Pratiwi who ranked 10th as the best Indonesian representative in the women’s doubles ranking list.
Whereas in the mixed doubles sector there are no Indonesian representatives in the top 10.Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu became the best Indonesian couple by ranking 11th.
