Under the red and white flag, ahead of the 80th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia on August 17.
“I think it is an expression of creativity, expression, and innovation. Surely his heart is ‘Red and White’, his spirit ‘Red and White’,” he said when met at the MPR RI building, Jakarta, Sunday (3/8).
Muzani said the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia was a very important day in the journey of a nation.
He believes that Indonesian people have the spirit of nationalism to fly the red and white flag in order to show gratitude for the new age of the country.
“We believe that all Indonesian people love this country, love this nation, and be grateful for that independence,” he said.
The Chairperson of the Indonesian MPR also invited the public to reflect back on the struggle of the Founder of the Nation by raising the Red and White flag.
“I think the love of the Indonesian people to Merah Putih will not be exchanged for anything. I believe that,” he stressed.
Lately, social media has been enlivened by the phenomenon of some residents from various regions that raised the One Piece flag ahead of the celebration of the Republic of Indonesia Independence Day.
One Piece is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda.The manga series which tells the adventure of Monkey D. Luffy to be the king of pirates was published since July 22, 1997 until now.
A year later, the manga was then adapted into a video animation series and aired until now.The story of One Piece is not only about the search for treasure, but also about dreams and freedom.
The action of raising the One Piece pirate flag is referred to as criticism of the current state of the country.
