Ambition to secure the main place in Borneo FC in the Super League 2025/2026 competition.
Buffon said that now he focused with Borneo FC after some time ago joined the Indonesian U-23 national team in the 2025 AFF U-23 Cup.
“The target of course wants to be able to start, or just can always contribute to the team. That is the most important,” said Buffon as reported by the I. League site.
Buffon’s desire to get the main place with Borneo FC was not easy because he had to prove his ability to the new coach Fabio Lefundes.
In addition, Buffon must also immediately adapt to the coach scheme because he missed the preseason agenda because he had to defend the Indonesian U-23 national team.
Although he had to start again, Buffon said he remained excited especially he was helped by a positive atmosphere in Borneo FC, including senior players always supporting and guiding young players.
“There must be difficulties because of the new coaches too, then new players. I also just joined, while the others were together when in Yogyakarta (TC),” explained Buffon.
“Support from senior players is always good here. Physical conditions are also safe,” he added.
The 19 -year -old player last season appeared nine matches with 271 minutes of playing in League 1.
