Dhani is quite optimistic that the product being tested is ready to prove performance directly in the actual terrain.This is also a proof of specifications not only on paper.
BJ40 Plus
BJ40 Plus has been officially at the Reliable Production Facility of Indonesia Motor in Purwakarta, West Java in June 2025 with the use of TKDN by 40 percent.
When entering Indonesia, this model is only available one engine variant, namely 4,000 cc DOHC turbocharger 4 -cylinder gasoline.The engine was combined with an 8-speed transmission from a well-known transmission manufacturer from Germany, ZF.
This vehicle is equipped with a driving system that uses an electronic transfer case and center differential lock from Borg-Warner, which is claimed to be very reliable to cross heavy terrain.
With a four -wheel drive system, the BJ40 Plus is able to produce a maximum power of 221 hp and peak torque of 380 nm.
When selling BJ40 Plus Imported CBU version, Jio Distribution Indonesia sells this off road style SUV of Rp790 million.While the local assembly version of the official tag is set at Rp698 million or means down Rp92 million.
