After undergoing education since May 2025, Lucky was placed in the Territorial Battalion of the Development of 834 Waka Nga Mere (Yon TP 834/WM) based in Nagekeo Regency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).
“He had only been a soldier for two months, he finished his education in May, then June was placed there (Yon TP 834/WM),” said Rafael David, Uncle Lucky at the funeral home to shesocial Indonesia.com Thursday (7/8).
According to Rafael, Prada Lucky is the second child of four siblings.And he has become one of the backbone of the family who participated in supporting his mother and two younger siblings.While his sister is married.
He said, the victim began to attend education at the Tamtama (Secatam) School of the Army in Singaraja, Bali since February 2025 and at the end of May 2025 returned after being appointed as a member of the Army after three months of education.
But only two months of being a TNI soldier, Lucky’s soldier’s life had to end in the hands of his own colleagues who persecuted to exhale the last breath at the Aeramo Regional General Hospital (RSUD), Nagekeo on Wednesday (6/8) at 10:30 pm.
“The information that the family got was the victim experienced torture by members (TNI), seniors,” said Rafael
He said before he died, the victim was treated since Saturday (2/8) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) room.But when treated allegedly after the experience of torture there was no information from his unit to the family or parents of the victim in Kupang.
“On the 3rd mom (the victim’s parents) went to Ende and continued to Nagekeo to visit him in the battalion, because a few days before getting a dream visited by Lucky,” he said.
And at that time it was only discovered that the victim was undergoing treatment allegedly due to his own senior persecution in the dormitory.
He explained from the information of the victim’s biological mother that the victim’s body suffered bruises and there were also cuts on the back of the victim’s body and also bruises on the left rib.
“If the information from his mother bruises almost all bodies, including in the neck there is also, then the incision and sulutan wounds,” explained Rafael.
Rafael said, the victim’s biological father, Serma Kristian Namo who had been serving at Kodim 1627 Rote Ndao, also had a chance to catch up to Nagekeo on Wednesday (6/8) to visit his child after receiving information from the victim’s mother.
“But only a few minutes his father arrived, Lucky died,” said Rafael.
Meanwhile, Serma Kristian Namo, the biological father of the victim, at El Tari Kupang Airport when he arrived with his son’s body, confirmed that Prada Lucky Cepril Saputra Namo was killed as a result of being a victim of the cruelty of his own fellow TNI members who served in the TP 834/WM Nagekeo Battalion.
“He is a victim of persecution, that is clear. I demand justice,” said Serma Kristian who is also a member of the Indonesian Army who served in Kodim 1627 Rote Ndao.
Serma Kristian said her son Prada Lucky had been a victim of persecution allegedly carried out by several TNI members in the Territorial Development Battalion (TP) 834 Waka Nga Mere (Yon TP 834/WM), based in Nagekeo Regency, NTT.
The death of Prada Lucky made Serma Kristian as a parent demanding that the perpetrators be rewarded with the death penalty and also fired from the Indonesian Army Office.
“The punishment is only two for (the perpetrators of persecution) of my child, the death penalty and fired (for the perpetrators) are not below that,” said Serma Kristian Namo.
Meanwhile, shesocial Indonesia.com monitoring at a funeral home in the Kuanino army dormitory, Kupang, hundreds of mourners had packed the funeral home when the body arrived.
Previously the body was taken to the body room of Wirasakti Hospital to be autopsy, but because there were no forensic experts and medical personnel so the victim was then taken home.
While in the mortuary, Serma Kristian again made the sentence that her child was a victim of persecution so that justice must be upheld.
“The point is he (victim) of persecution and justice must be upheld,” said Serma Kristian before reporters in the RST Wirasakti Kupang’s body room.
Head of Military Resort 161 Wirasakti Kupang, Major Inf.I Gusti Komang Surya Negara confirmed by shesocial Indonesia.com about the case, said that the case was being investigated from the Army Military Police.
“For the time being in the investigation from POM, please ask for time,” Surya Negara said via text message in Thursday (7/8).
