“I am sure it’s been a long time. At the time of 2020 it had been revoked,” said KPK Chairman Setyo Budiyanto at Building Juang, Jakarta, Wednesday (6/8).
Setyo said that the process of revoking Harun Masiku’s passport had coordinated with the Directorate General of Immigration of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights that year.
Previously, the KPK on August 5, 2025, revealed that the Passport of Harun Masiku had been revoked by the government.Nevertheless, the KPK needs time to ascertain when the exact of the revocation of the passport.
Meanwhile, Minister Imipas Agus Andrianto said he would re -ensure the revocation of Harun Masku’s passport.
“Until later, we also pull out,” Agus said at the Jakarta Presidential Palace on Wednesday.
Harun entered into one of the DPOs being sought by the KPK.KPK Deputy Chairman Fitroh Rohcahyanto said he would try to resolve the case.
The KPK leader with a prosecutor’s background said that the KPK had coordinated with other law enforcement officials including those who were abroad to arrest fugitives.
The KPK on January 9, 2020 announced four suspects in a case of alleged inter-time substitute management (PAW) candidates for the 2019-2024 Parliament.
The four suspects are Masikiku Harun and Saeful Bahri as bribers, as well as former Indonesian KPU members Wahyu Setiawan and members of the Indonesian Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) Agustiani Tio Fridelina.
In the development of the case, Harun Masiku has always been absent from the call of KPK investigators to the list of people searching (DPO) since January 17, 2020.
Harun, who is a former legislative candidate for the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP), is suspected of preparing around Rp850 million for lubricants to be able to pitch to Senayan.
The KPK has issued the latest arrest letter on Thursday, December 5, 2024. Harun is said to be in a location that can still be monitored, but has not been able to be arrested.
In the development of the investigation of the alleged corruption case of Harun Masiku, the KPK on December 24, 2024, established two new suspects in the series of Harun Masiku cases, namely PDI -P Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto and Advocate Donny Tri Istiqomah.
However, Hasto was released on August 1, 2025 after the Presidential Decree on the granting of amnesty was published and handed over to the KPK leadership.
