Open votes about the DKI Jakarta Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMD), PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya, which was dragged by the mixed rice case.
Three food station officials have been named as suspects by the National Police Food Task Force, and the BUMD elite has resigned.For the time being, Pramono appointed Food Station Director Julius Sutjiadi to be the Acting Director of Food Station Tjipinang Jaya.
Pramono said that his party deplored that mixed rice was one of them from the food station already circulated and had been consumed by the wider community.
“If it can be withdrawn (oplose rice) I ask to be withdrawn. But, this is the problem that may have been consumed,” Pramono said in South Jakarta, Monday (4/8).
Therefore in the future, Pramono stressed that the case of adulterated rice could be a momentum to strengthen the supervision and accountability in the BUMD of DKI Jakarta.
In addition Pramono also asked all BUMD directors to prioritize professional governance and uphold integrity.
“BUMD is an extension of the local government in serving the community. So, accountability and integrity must be the main foundation,” Pramono said.
Although a number of food station officials have been named as suspects, Pramono stressed that food distribution services for the community continue to run normally.Pramono has also appointed the temporary peak leader of the DKI BUMD.
“I have appointed the Director of Finance as Acting Director of the President Station to continue to run well,” Pramono said.
In addition, Pramono has asked the Food Station management to increase internal supervision and open the public complaint channel.
The public can report the findings of rice that are not in accordance with the standard to number 0821-3700-1200.
Previously the National Police Food Task Force had named three PT Food Station officials had been named as suspects, namely the President Director of Gunarso (KG), Operational Director Ronny Lisapali (RL), and the Head of the Quality Control Section with the initials Rp.
All three are suspected of trading rice that is not in accordance with SNI 6128: 2020 and violates a number of regulations related to food quality.
Previously, the Special Staff of the Governor and Deputy Governor of Jakarta, Public Communication, Cyril Raoul Hakim alias Chico Hakim said the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government would prioritize that food distribution through food stations was not disrupted.
“Asrekeu (Jakarta Economy and Finance Assistant), the Head of BUMD (Regional Owned Enterprises) is intensely distributing food ingredients that are the responsibility of food statiom so as not to be disturbed,” said Chico.
The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government also supports and follows every legal step carried out by the Criminal Investigation Police.
