Prabowo Amnesty Recipient from the Presidential Increasing Case to Papua

giving amnesty to 1,178 convicted/prisoners through Presidential Decree (Keppres) Number 17 of 2025 concerning Giving
Amnesty
which was signed on August 1.
Prisoners who received amnesty consisted of various cases ranging from corruption, treason in Papua to cases of presidential insult.The prisoners who received this amnesty were then free from prison.
Regarding the corruption case, one of the ones who received amnesty was the former Secretary General of PDI Perjuangan Hasto Kristiyanto.
He was previously sentenced to 3.5 years in a bribery case against former KPU Commissioner Wahyu Setiawan regarding PAW members of the 2019-2024 DPR.As Amnesty, Hasto was free from prison last Friday (1/8).
Another name that received amnesty was Yulianus Paonganan alias Ongen, convicted of cases of violations of the Information and Electronic Transaction Law (UU ITE).
Ongen is a doctorate of marine science graduates of IPB.He was arrested by the Cyber Crime Bareskrim Sub Directorate in December 2015 on Jalan Rambutan, South Jakarta.
Ongen was processed by law regarding President Jokowi’s photo upload with artist Nikita Mirzani through social media accounts X @ypaonganan.
There is also the name of Sugi Nur Raharja alias Gus Nur who received amnesty.He had previously undergone detention at the Class I Surakarta Class I Detention Center (Detention Center).
In the appeal level decision, the Semarang High Court sentenced Gus Nur with a criminal of 4 years in prison and a fine of Rp400 million in 4 months in prison.
The case that ensnared Gus Nur began when he invited Bambang Tri Mulyono to discuss the alleged fake diploma of the 7th President of Indonesia Joko Widodo in the Youtube channel.
Amnesty was also given to prisoners of treason cases in Papua.
One of them is Victor Makamuke bin Paulus (late).Victor previously served his sentence in Class IIB Sorong prison.He was sentenced to 2 years and 6 months.
From a number of reports, Victor was previously referred to as the Commander of the West Papua National Army (TNPB) Region IV Bomberay.
Some other names related to treason cases in Papua that received amnesty were Adolof Nauw, Yance Kambuaya and Alex Bless.
Adolof was previously sentenced to 4 years in prison, Yance sentenced to 5 years in prison and Alex was sentenced to 4 years in prison.
Not only that, Amnesty was also given to convicted of the planned murder case Andi Andoyo bin Adnan Sujiono.
Andi is a sufferer of paranoid schizophrenia.He was processed by a law for killing a victim named Fresa Danella Handuran.
