A number of netizens seemed to be fooled because the account installed Oda’s username and profile photo.However, several other users tried to straighten out by emphasizing that the account did not belong to Eiichiro Oda.

Meanwhile, Eiichiro Oda does not have a personal social media account to maintain anonymity and avoid the risk of bias on the internet.He also almost never appeared on the internet, except through interviews or One Piece.
Oda’s presence has been represented by the staff social media account with the username @eiichiro_staff which is only available on x/twitter.
According to monitoring on Monday (4/8), the official account did not release a statement or comment about the phenomenon of raising the Jolly Roger flag by Indonesian citizens.
The @eiichiro_staff account later only uploaded the latest promotional materials and news about One Piece.In addition, Oda occasionally wrote an open letter to fans uploaded through the account.
