
WORKING FROM HOME CAN BE CHALLENGING AS HELL, BUT IT IS THE BEST CHOICE I HAVE EVER MADE!!! HERE ARE SOMETHINGS I HAVE LEARNED FROM BEING FULL-TIME FROM HOME!
1. REMEMBER TO EAT
It may sound weird but when you work from home (even more when you work for yourself) sometimes eating gets put on the back burner. Remember to eat by setting tour alarm and preparing and planning your meals at the beginning of each week! A well balanced diet and a properly fueled body is super important and must not be forgotten.
2. YOUR SLEEP SCHEDULE CAN BE AFFECTED BY YOUR INCREASED AMOUNT OF SCREEN TIME
When you work from home it seems that you look at a screen way more than usual. Instead of going to grab lunch or hitting up happy hour with your coworkers after work, you may find yourself on social media craving social interaction and working late nights way too many nights. Make it a point to turn off your screen at a certain time each night and use blue light filters and glasses. The screens on our phones, TV and computers can mess with our systems and make it harder to fall asleep each night if you aren’t careful.
3. SET A SCHEDULE AND STICK TO IT
You will be much happier if you not only set a schedule but create work and home boundaries for yourself. When you work from home it’s easy to find yourself like me right now writing a blog at 3:07am instead of sleeping! Haha! So take the extra time to get up and start work and shut it off at the same time each day as much as possible. And separate your office space from your home space as much as humanly possible!
